Mechanical Product Development
They founded their sports timekeeping company, AMB, in 1982 in Haarlem. Like any sports club at the time, their local RC track relied on stopwatches and thumbs to measure lap times. The two friends, big RC enthusiasts, felt there had to be a better and more user-friendly way to track race times. From transponder housing to antenna mat, TEKLAB has been supporting development and production for decades.
Product development
TEKLAB is responsible, among other things, for the production and innovation behind the Easymat and BibTag mat. When you pass a registration point, at the start, finish or during the race, your personal RFID tag is registered by an ultra-high frequency signal. TEKLAB is responsible for the assembly and quality control of these antennas. Mechanical product development, high-quality plastics of the best quality for housings and injection molded parts. From BibTag mat to Easymat, innovation in the market.
