The company Alphabet, better known as Google, has been making recordings all over the world for their Google Maps Streetview service for decades.

Long service life 

The Google cars with camera systems mounted on them travel hundreds of thousands of kilometres in all weather conditions. Very high demands are placed on the roof frames, so that the (expensive) cameras can do their work stably on the car roofs.

TEKLAB has been involved in this project as a supplier for many years. 

Repair and maintenance for lifespan extension

Despite the high-quality material and finish of the roof frames, it is still necessary to check the frames from time to time and repair them where necessary. This regular maintenance ensures that the frames last much longer and thus contribute to their durability.
