News

Coming up with cool new products or product improvements is second nature for many entrepreneurs. Wherever they are there always seems to be a problem to solve, or something more useful to come up with. This is unstoppable, even during holidays 😊 Recognizable?

Save ideas!

To make sure the ideas don't get lost, quickly put them in a Note app so you can revisit them later to determine if the problem is really big enough to solve, or if you should spend time on a larger project.

Product design guidelines

It is useful to create a roadmap per product, especially for those larger projects. This can be very extensive with an external roadmap, internal roadmap and even a roadmap per department, but often 1 general roadmap provides sufficient guidance.

Support base

The roadmap can be used to express your vision and to involve others in it. During a project, it helps to plan and maintain priorities and then evaluate whether the set goals are being achieved and where adjustments can or should be made.

Keep it simple!

If new ideas arise during the implementation of the project, it can be quickly determined whether they can be incorporated directly into the first version or whether they can be used for version 1.2 or 2.0. It is not always necessary to put everything into a first version straight away. Not to mention delays, higher costs and increased complexity. If the ideas provide simplification, lower costs and acceleration, then the choice is quickly made.
